Need advise on Garmin LakeVu chip

    Is the LakeVu g3 enough info or is the Ultra worth the extra $80? I see the g3 has the whole US and the Ultra I will have to decide on East or West. Ia is in both of them.

    I personally like the G3. Have not compared it to the ultra but i really doubt its worth it. You do also get a free upgrade to the 2021 maps if you bought your unit recently and havnt used that free upgrade yet.

    Thanks for the advice , I think I will go with the G3. I bought mine a year ago but will check into the free upgrade. Anybody know of a cheap place to buy the G3? I found them for $119 at the GPS store.
