10-11 inches as of last saturday. Should be easily over a foot now – been a cold son of gun this week. Some snow drifts.
December 11, 2013 at 1:45 pm #1370699kind of boom or bust i guess. This weather sure has been brutal. Ive only been out there once this year. If you want a little more consistent bite shoot me a pm as some other “lakes” in the area have been producing a bit better for eater eyes and bigger than average perch. The thing with early ice on Ashtabula is you have a real good shot at 8+ pound fish. I guess thats why i tough out the bad days there. Also some nice crappies being caught again this year.
