I got off works early so I picked up the 10 year old early from school, told him it was his day. As I shot mine Saturday. I’ve been teaching him to ground hunt and stalk with me.
He shot this guy today 45 minutes in to the woods. We spotted him about 100 yards out and mason took the shot at about 20 yards, walking right at us with his nose down. He didn’t have a clue We were there.
Mason shot my 30.06 no scope.
    Proud dad moment

Yes his first official kill. He’s been with on multiple, but this is his first.
