Great Bluegill show guys. Looks like fresh fish tacos for Joel.
Watching the show today took a little sting out of having to reschedule or LOTW trip this week.

Crossing my fingers – It looks like hard water could be right around the corner for MN.

p.s. way to coin another phrase James.

Well monkey pile and fishing never was something I would have put together. That’s a talent.

There’d be a monkey pile of guys tackling James to take his place I’d bet.

    Defined by Websters dictionary….
“Monkey-Pile”: crazy amount of gills engulfing the screen of depthfinder.

    Not to be confused with
“Monkey-S***” : lack of cold weather and ice present in minnesota!

Man its gotta come soon doesn’t it?
I’m bout ready to send a letter to santa, and that’s been like 25 years since I’ve done that!

Always enjoy the shows! Look forward to rest of season

My favorite was Joel comparing the bluegill size to hubcaps and manhole covers. Now that’s quite a stretch, even for fishermen, (but I’ll be sure to use it myself in the future)!

What show are you referring to? I must be out of the loop.

Not the size, the shape! Truly big gills grow just as tall and sometimes even taller than they are long. But I’m still a fisherman, so I’m still prone to exaggeration. )

A lot of people use a plate for the size of gills like the round shape, but I love the manhole cove, hubcap, or a garbage can lid. lol

I can’t believe James hasn’t fished gills open water!

Lol you guys are going to make them paranoid about referring fish as anything but inches.
