Managed to get out on the river tuesday evening with my good fishing buddy Gabe. Not sure if any of you remember in a recent post. Gabe has been fishing Cats for a year now with me and had yet to boat a cat. Well……….. that all changed to night. Gabe managed a Hatrick of channels. Not One or Two but three channels. 2 of which went over 7lbs.
We started out the night hitting a favorite spot. I was in shallow with Bullheads getting runs and striking out. Gabe went deep with some Creek Chubs and managed to find channel fever. I tell you the look on his face when he finally hooked into his first one solid was worth it. Here this guy has netted gosh knows how many fish of mine. Well the shoe went on the other foot tonight. I was doing the filming and netting. As you can see and hear in the video. If one person starts getting too many fish in my boat, well…… I guess I get a little jealous 
We ended up boating 3 channels 8, 7, 4.
