I’m thinking about spending a week in late May of ’07 at the 4 Seasons Resort. I’ve fished Ottertail lake a few times in the 90’s and was looking to stay at a different lake this time. how is the fishing in this lake???
Should be pretty good in late May. Try both the inlet and outlet areas of the Otter Tail river in shallow water and you should get a few eyes.
Rush has more all around angling than OT but for eyes and perch, stick to OT…
The key phrase in the last post was “all around” angling. Lots of variety. Can’t say it would be my first choice if you are going for just walleyes. Great, great place to take the kids and hit the rock bass, perch, and crappie. Lots of pike as well. My experience there was years ago, so it may have improved. Nice area, lots of other things to do besides fish.
