Good Lewis Clark Reports

    Heard some good Lewis & Clark/Gavin’s Point reports from last week.

    Smallies, walleye, cats and other fish were on the dam. A couple of friends did well in 15-25′ pulling bottom bouncers with minnows or crawlers while casting towards the dam with deep diving cranks. They also got limits of sauger and walleye below the dam a different day jigging through the paddlefisherman. The size was good, they didn’t keep anything under 15″ though didn’t get or see anything over 17/18″ either.

    Thanks Todd! I’d like to get up there but I’ve been spending free time helping my dad finish his cabin. I may slip in a short trip at the end of the month.

    Nobody was fishing the dam on Thurs (18th) or Fri (19th) BIG wind right out of the North, NorthWest. Sat would have been a good day to try it but we decided to trailer up to Verdel & that was a mistake, river was down about 4′ from the prior week.
