This will be a great forum to have on the site. Catch plenty of these fish during the course of a a year. Some trips they make up the majority of fish caught and have saved a trip.

What I really wanna know is what I have to use to catch some of those hawg Carp on Mille Lacs. Sight fishing those beasties would be lights out!
How about dogfish? They should be spawning in the cattails soon. I had a business retreat one year and I tried pulling one out by dropping a crawler in front of his nose. I never got a good hookset and he grew wise to me.May 6, 2008 at 9:45 pm #682996

If they are “mouthing” the surface…use a fly rod…what a HOOT!

Stacie’s Dad did it again and shot another nice SD Bull Elk. He showed some tremendous patience after losing sight of the herd numerous times but he held tight in his position until the herd finally popped up and Jack made the 270 Yard broad side shot on this bad boy and ended his season. Congrats Jack on a DANDY SD BULL ELK.
I have yet to see an actual Elk when I’m out there. But I have found a 6x shed!
