Fished Saturday straight out of Bolles Harbor in about 26-28 f-o-w near the red & white sound-bouy / aka Sputnik. Caught only 4 keeper ‘eyes and numerous white bass & sheephead trolling this area with mini-discs/spoons & 3 oz. bottom bouncer w/ crawler rigs. Moved in the afternoon to 26-28 f-o-w roughly located between the the cooling towers of the Fermi and the stacks of the power plant near the River Raisin. We picked up the other 16 keeper ‘eyes plus a few samller ‘eyes in this area and fished into the evening. The white bass were also feeding in this area. The 1/4 oz. Hot-N-Tots in the kaleidoscope and the gold/black back/red lip were working for us 80, 100, 120 ft. back behind the baords. The 3 oz. bottom bouncer/crawler rigs were also picking off the ‘eyes that were lying low. Our 4-man limit for the day consisted of ‘eyes in the 15″-24″ range.
