I wish I had a better report but the weather and fishing success have been pretty brutal.

Sunny yes, but cold and windy, brrr!!! Wind chills in between -15′ and upwards of maybe -35′ this morning is what we are experiencing right now.

Snows squalls are blowing across the bay and there are lower numbers of ice-anglers out on the ice.

Current reports find the bite still slow with some catches being reported but not real high numbers of fish.

The long range forecast is hoping for a possible warmup and lessening of winds.

Jigging still seems to be the techinque of choice to icing some fish. The weatherman predicts more extremely cold temps. the next few days. I wouldn’t venture on the bay without an ice shack or shelter w/ a propane heater.
