We went 17 for 27 on our 4 person charter today. The action has been on the slow side with the water temps reaching the high 60’s. All the action was off the bottom with the flasher fly combos with no color preference, just get it out there. From 80-250 feet of water fishing on bottom and as close to bottom as we could get took the fish today. The west winds are blowing right now, just hope its enough to turn the water over.

Nice report.. You mentioned fish on bottom. We consitantly marked fish a foot or two off bottom in depths of 60-90 feet. We assumed these to be lakers and never targeted those fish. Were those fish we marked probably lakers or kings as well?

We got a lot of our fish on the bottom with pumphandles.

Bottom is the target area, those are the big kings. We found a school of lakers today, but we’ll move deeper in the morning to get back on those big kings.
