The salmon are biting all day long now, morning and evening trips are filling the coolers in Two Rivers right now. Flasher flies on the bottom and orange spoons on the surface for some rainbow action.

Nice catch! I enjoy your post, please keep them coming. Don’t get to go on charters much, but they sure leave a lot of memories and a big smile on your face! I love fishing for just about anything, but when fall comes, you got to go toe to toe with the big kings or your really missing out! Thanks for the pics.

July 12, 2004 at 3:52 am #312160It’s hard to predict the future on one day how the fish will bite. Generally by Labor Day the spawning salmon are near shore and moving up the river. If it’s a good weather day there should be some fish around to be caught.
