Still bringing in some nice catches, but the fast action of May and June is slowing down with the high temperatures and the water temps warming. The rainbow trout action on the surface with blue, acid , and orange spoons has still been the best action. A few kings and coho hitting up high and the big kings are still hitting the flashers and flies down on the bottom. Still fishing in 40-90 foot depth range, but I think it’s timeto start moving deeper with the warming water.

Nice fish, is that a 1/2 day or full day trip?

Thanks for the report and update on that great fishing over there.
When you say ‘up top’, are you using lead with 3 or 5 colors out, or on boards????

We are looking to set up a trip to Lake Michigan for Kings, any insight into the seasonal patterns?

This was one of our 3 1/2 hour evening trips.

I do not use lead core or copper or wire line, Up top is a spoon with no weight run out on a board.

Insite to fishing is get here now the fishing is great.
