Which qualifies him for the HOF if he was the best correct?
July 22, 2023 at 9:00 pm #2214714best singles hitter in baseball in his era. never aspired to do much more. poor leader, never could put the team on his back. i know feelings will get hurt but truth hurts
July 22, 2023 at 9:37 pm #2214721i watched him for over a decade and only like 2 years of it did i think he was great. the rest was average and boring. if that gets you HOF so be it. i don’t think he gets in and its my opinion so you do you
tim hurleyPosts: 5531July 23, 2023 at 7:50 am #2214749Would be nice to have him now except for the price tag-w/o a homerun hitter he just stood there at first, ’till the side was retired. Now all we have is HR hitters, we had seasons with good run production & bad pitching, hard for the twins to put it all together.

Ive watched him since he’s been in junior high.h
July 24, 2023 at 8:16 am #2214934Who ever said “put the team on his back” that was funny ! Was he supposed to catch and pitch too ?
