Looks to be a rather large fire at Hansen Implement and Storage in Maple Grove tonight. They store a good amount of boats, RVs, and Ice Houses. Hopefully nobody here has their toys stored there.

We’ve been hearing lots of fire trucks. Must be a biggun!
Glad my boat is not there.

EDIT: Confirmed fatality, now. Sad situation, indeed.
walleyevisionPosts: 407December 2, 2020 at 2:00 pm #1993473I may be wrong, but I remember hearing once that storage facilities are not liable for such occurrences. It is the person storing their stuff that must carry the insurance. Or maybe that was just for theft. Either way, it sucks.

Highly doubtful, knowing the location–it’s a pretty well-off area and amidst lots of new construction. They’re still investigating, from what I’ve read.

That’s horrible. My heart reaches out to the family
December 2, 2020 at 4:08 pm #1993510That is terrible. Prayers for the family. Wonder how/why someone was there? Maybe trying to put out the fire?

December 3, 2020 at 11:32 pm #1993927Sadly, A classmate of mine perished. She lived above the facility, would have been around 52. RIP Michele
