I discovered this design fooling around in my basement workshop in spring:
Doesn’t look like much, but the tail bobbles back and forth twitching the rod tip. It caught more fish than any other design I used Fri. and accounted for 20 fish in an hour fishing in water 2-8′.
Also interesting was catching fish on clear plastic lures I poured in different lure shapes.
Adding glitter to the plastic surface seemed to help catch fish.
