This may already be in a thread somewhere, so if someone knows where it is, feel free to attatch a link!I am wondering what steps I should take to re-winterize my boat and motor after going out fishing on the river in the winter conditions. Anyone willing to run me through the checklist?

Tip motor down, run it for 5-8 seconds.
Tip motor all the way up.
Tip down, run for 5-8 seconds.
    Wait 30 seconds.
    Tip up to trailering position.

Drain LW if used, most dont run water in them though. “Dead box”

Some will tip bow mount down and dry it off if possible.

Make sure to let trailer drain at the bottom of the ramp for 20-30 seconds prior to pulling all the way out of the ramp and making it slick.

Thats it? Easier than I thought!! So I dont need to fog the engine or anything?

Thats all I have ever done and have had no issues. Just make sure the engines water jacket is drained. The only reason, in my eyes, to fog an engine is for storage of longer than 6 months.
Not much science to it, just common sense.

I would also run Sea Foam or StaBil making sure it runs thru the carbs or injectors. I usually add it to every tank of gas anyway.
