Lookin at the 1875 Pro V with a 200 Verado and a 9.9….any prop suggestions that will be best for hole shot and still have good top end? Currently running a 200 Yamaha 4 stroke.

Try the Mercury High Five. I have a 19″ on my 200 v-rod/
620T. I can toggle my speed down to 1.9 mph. Good boat
control, such as back trolling because it actually has poor
grip in reverse (relatively speaking) just what a walleye
guy wants. Yes, good hole shot! Small diameter, small blades
shifts into gear a little quieter than a large diameter 4
blade that I tried for a few hours.

    Gut –

New to me is a 186 glass Tyee with a 150 verado. Its awesome out of the hole. No clue about prop details, I only mention as to recommend you try it out first without thinking you need to go buy some expensive prop.

Maybe try posting the question on Lund’s facebook site and they could tell you about the ones they have tested. Otherwise I would call the factory and see what they used. I know they did a bunch of prop testing so they should have this dialed in on what prop to use.

My 1875 has a 175 Vrod and it came with a 21 pitch (Laser II i think). Hole shot seemed good to me and the top end was 51.4 at 5980 rpm. Nice ride, very impressed. Definitely a step or two up from my 1800 ProV with a Yamaha f150. Dash seems a little crowded with a Humminbird 998, over all though I really like it.
