Have a 1850 Tyee with a Lund snap down custom cover…have had to replace many of the snaps multiple times, seems that the snap heads pull off. Got a brainstorm the other day and went to the local True Value hardware and purchased a bunch of small thin ss washers that fit in the inside bottom of the snap cup to increase and stiffen the surface area so that the crimp on the snap head won’t pull through.
Tried it several times and it seemed to work. Using 11/64 length snap shaft for heavy tarps.
You might try it if you are having the same problem.
