Has anyone installed the point one gps module yet? I am looking to buy one and was wondering what your thoughts of the new module are. Was the tracking of location really fast? Thanks for your input.

I spoke with Chris Meyer of Lowrance about this product this weekend. It is supposed to start shipping this week.
I will be replacing my LGC 4000 with one of these as soon as it becomes available.
April 29, 2013 at 9:59 pm #1166726Just installed mine and was amazed it could see through my steel pole shed. I am using it to enhance my internal GPS on my HDS units, which update once a second. The new Point 1 updates 10 times a second which I am anxious to see if it improves tracking during slow movement.
