Lowrance question

    My buddy has a lowrance sonar with an internal GPS. The problem he has having is the screen goes from bright to dim and back to bright on its own while he’s out fishing. Has anyone had this problem and is there a solution? Thanks

    I have one that constantly cycles like this. I’ve heard it’s happened to others and no fix available. If it’s new enough, he may be able to get help from Lowrance for an exchange/upgrade.

    sticky power button, can’t really fix it, mine does it sometimes too, I try and press the power button as lightly and as few times as possible, thus far I live with it, mine doesn’t always do it.

    Call Lowrance Customer Care at 1-800-324-1354. If the unit is an HDS unit it has a two year warranty. The agent can get you fixed up.
