Anyone have a recommendation for a good paper map for navigation on LOW. Heading to NW Angle mid June and will fish both Canada and US. Have Lakemaster chip but like a paper map also. Thanks

Not sure where to buy online but this is what you want… maps 6215 and 6216 should cover you. I bet your resort will have them.

Thanks for the responses. Tswoboda- thats the type map I’m looking for. The website isn’t very user friendly so I’ll check with Angle Outpost to see if they sell them. Thanks

Yeah sorry I’m no help finding them online – only ever bought them in person. If your resort doesn’t have them I can just about guarantee Young’s Bay will have them.

If fishing both Canadian and US waters, I’d get the 6215 and 6216.

There’s a map wholesaler in my town (Reedsburg WI) that carried them in the past. It’s been a few years since I needed to buy one, but I think they had the digital master and just printed them to order. Worth giving them a call anyway…

Don’t you have a map chip? Nav routes are on them.

    Hey 3rdtryguy
In my op I stated I have a chip. I’m getting close to my seventh decade and have been reading maps a lot longer than looking at a screen.Always good to have a paper map for backup. Or starters for that matter.
Meacham Enterprises no longer does the maps but gave me the connection for where to get them. If anyone else is interested the site is Nautical Charts Online. Nicole Grandstrand was very helpfull if you need it. Thanks again

Hopefully you’ve been in contact with your resort because I have heard that some of the resorts in the angle are canceling reservations because everything is flooded and it isnt safe to moor up your boat.
