Just picked up two new units and planning on linking together with Nema 2000. Both units have internal GPS no directions with the wiring harness. Was wondering if a person has to power up the backbone if your not linking any other devices, since the units have there own power source. I’m assuming you just plug in one transducer to the master unit as well?

Yes I believe you have to power the network backbone.
