We finally got in our first Tuesday night NBAA Overtime Series tournament in. The water was between 2 and 3 feet high and very murky. Visibility was less than 6″ and the temp was 71 degrees. Fishing was pretty tough. I missed a bass on a crankbait around the jetties near the boat ramp. My partner missed a couple fish on a buzzbait. The team of Fred and Mark Madison won with 5 fish weighing 6 pounds. 2nd Place went to Brian Caughron who caught 1 0.92 lb bass. Jigging shallow lay downs and fishing really slow was the key to catching the bass. As the water clears up the fishing should be really good out there. It is nice to see our lakes full of water.
Yesterday we received our tournament permit for Czechland so we are on for Tuesday the 15th.
