Psssst…..Ralph…..your dog has no eyes. cry

Ha! He does, but they are hidden, right now. I tend not to groom during hunting season because the fur is for protection. Here is a photo from this spring, right after a grooming.

Mika the lab just over a year old has turned into an awesome pheasant dog. She has been recovering with stitches from a gash to her leg by a rooster. Tuesday stitches come out and back to hunting.

Juno, the Goldendoodle I wasn’t a fan of at first, is turning into quite a bird dog. She was more interested in getting back to hunting than posing with her first solo yesterday.

At grouse camp after a long day of hunting…….I’m not sure they understand the sleeping bags on the FLOOR are for them to sleep on. Oh well; they work much harder than I do during a day chasing birds!

Thanks Ralph. The weather looks great for chasing birds tomorrow. Good luck! I hope you and Ripley get into a bunch of birds.
