Leech lake?

    Has anyone been fishing on Leech Lake? Going up for 1st time to ice fish on 1/24. I know it’s gonna be cold but wondering how the fishing has been.

    we have been on leech for a day now and have not seen a fish. One of the rattle reels went off last night but nothing there. We are renting and on the north side of walker bay

    I talked to a guy who was up there with 2 buddies for 4 days last week. 3 keeper eyes, couple small and 1 big. Caught perch during the day as fast as you could get the line down but all 8″ and under. Said it was really slow for anything other than the dink perch.

    Northerns, and small perch are going nuts! If you can take y bones out, good eating can be had!
