Went up to the lake this weekend to fish 4 lakes open. I fished on Sat and did very well with the conditions we had. Ended up catching a number of bass in new areas and tried to put together a pattern for Sunday. At the end of the day we chased crappies and found some good ones around docks yet. The largest was about 14 inches long. Very nice fish. Sunday was a totally different game. Ended up catching 7 legals and lost two that would have put us right in the running for a check. That is the way it goes.
