    heading up to vermilion Saturday (5-6) for 4 days, any reports out there?

    Some of the reports ive been hearing is that fishing slowed over the past few colder days. I know i’ve heard reports of bug hatches over the past week or so. Mayflys and fish flies both. I will be up thursday and friday scouting myself for muskie opener and doing some walleye fishing as well. I have a little bit of availability monday if you are interested in a full or half day guided trip. Otherwise good luck to you and hope you have a fun trip.

    How was your trip, we had great fishing last weekend but a mayfly hatch and bluebird sky days in the middle of last week slowed things considerably for us. Caught a nice 38″ northern and a 15in Crappie along with about a dozen slot walleyes.

    Well, last trip was tough, cold front blew through the first night we were there, fishing got tough after that a few in the slot and a couple of overs but had to work for them.
    Anyway heading back on Sunday (9-20) for 4 days, any reports? don’t need spots just general info.
