Was reading the ice went out of the Ash river. Old timers say another 10 days and it will go out of Kabatogama.

The season will soon be upon us! Might even go up and check on the trailer this weekend.

Don’t think I have met Billy. I don’t spend a lot of time getting around. Usually am out in the boat or doing a steak and listening to the Twins.

I don’t know what you mean by “off the hook”.

I have watched them go with the barge type boat where the front drops into a ramp. In fact they came down and pulled a sunk boat last summer using that. Very interesting to watch.

I see you are from Byron. How often do you make it up there?

This is my 4th year at Sunset. My trailer is in the back section. Straight in with the large deck. Give me shout when you will be up and we will do a steak and beer.

We try to go up around the 20th of september give or take. Sounds like John had a rough winter with a loss of his shed and a couple of boats.

It’s steep. It can run up to $4,500 depending on the resort.

The real cost is getting back and forth, in both time and gas costs.

There is a very nice state campground right there also. Maybe 15 spots? Outdoor privy, lots of tree’s includes picnic tables.Hand operated pump for water, kids should get a kick out of that. Many have never seen one.

Boat launch right across the street.

Nice low cost option for those who want to camp or have motor homes.
