Those of you that have the rear jump seats in your boat how often do you actually use them? Just wondering if they are worth having or not.

I have them and they are quite comfortable. Keeps me from putting extra seats in boat

The seats themselves are comfortable and the extra room is awesome. But if I used the back deck consistently I would buy the flip up deck style seats like on a regular Impact for the consistent flooring level. Guess I had better change my name on here.
June 16, 2020 at 10:58 pm #1950641They get used. Not fishing, but during the boating days.
yes sir! if by some chance I have multiple humans in my boat
June 17, 2020 at 6:53 am #1950656I have them in my 2008 Alumacraft Dominator 165, they really help opening op the floor space by keeping my from needing a 3rd pedestal seat if Im fishing with 2 others in the boat
June 17, 2020 at 7:02 am #1950658Don’t use them much, but would not want to be without them for reasons already given.

Same. Mine sit super low to the ground. Only use when there’s enough people to use them I guess.
June 17, 2020 at 9:41 am #1950701On my WX2190 they get used regularly. Love having them to clear the back of the boat on trolling days!

June 17, 2020 at 10:05 am #1950711I have an Alumacraft Edge. They are very comfortable. Ideal to troll spinners in rod holders in front of you. Set the Ipilot to follow a contour or weed edge and sit back with a buddy and a cooler between you.
June 18, 2020 at 1:10 pm #1951048My kids sit in them all the time.
Same here. Nice to be able to leave the extra seats at home and leave more room for them to spread out (5&6 y.o.) while we’re out.
June 18, 2020 at 1:19 pm #1951050Alumacraft Competitor Sport… use them often, especially when there’s three of us out fishing, during the runs from spot to spot. If we’re out pleasure cruising, allows me to sit 4 very comfortably – 5 if I move the bow seat to spot in the cockpit.
June 18, 2020 at 2:39 pm #1951062All the time. I never use a seat behind the driver or passenger seat. Gives more room for adults to stretch out legs and more room to fish.
June 18, 2020 at 2:47 pm #1951064All the time. Prefer using the jump seats over bringing extra chairs, unless we have a full boat and have to.
JensenPosts: 461June 19, 2020 at 7:51 pm #1951305They are comfortable but only time they get used is if the boat is full of people or the granddaughters are with.
