Crappies are biting in central Illinois

    2 of us couldn’t keep them off the hook yesterday. 2 different lakes, panfish assassins and glow minimites, 300 + caught and released. Pretty good day if not my best ever.

    great day, any pics of some bruiser Slabs????? I know some areas in central Ill has 3+ pounders.

    3 lbr’s are a bit west of me I hear, these were mostly 9-10 in with the odd almost 12’s. Couple pix on chicagolandfishing.com my main hang out when not monitoring Ryan and NK88 and Fireflick exploits here. I remember Clinton Crappies in their day though. 4’s weren’t that hard to catch.
