That is one awesome Gill, from the coloring and the size of the mouth I take it that is a hybrid.

    Very nice smiles

Yep, I agree with hybrid- but it is a stud hybrid- Here is crawford with a hybrid-

Rodbender- have to give you a thumbs up, for taking your kids out all the time, you always have photos with the kids!! Hows that CJS stuff working for you?

Love the cjs tackle. The smallest slender spoon works on almost everything. Matter of fact, that hybrid came on the gold/chartruse.

As for taking the kids, I’m just hoping they’ll remember all the times I took them when I’m 60.

They will, I’ll be 62 by the time the ice is out and mine take me along sometimes, and
    ALWAYS show me the pictures.

public farm pond, I like the average size of the gills, not bad for big bass either!

My daughter used part of her Christmas money to buy her very own ice fishing pole. We finally found a time that we could make it out so she could use it. (She doesn’t like to be out when the ice is “talking to her”.) She was able to catch around 10 crappies and blue gills. This was the first fish on the new pole.

Here is a picture of the biggest walleye caught in Alpena County Mich in years. 34.5 in long-19 in. girth-official wt 14.5 lbs. The lucky angler let me hold her. What a brute.

This has to be my favorite of the year so far. Took my 2 year old out of for his first time ever. We were able to spend a good half hour actually fishing! I was a very happy dad!

Got this girl out on waconia 2 weeks ago.

Caught on a gold gill pill in 10fow. She went 45″ and had to weigh around 15-16lbs.

Thought I would add my share of pics for my first ice fishing season.. Warm weather here in Iowa will probably have an adverse affect on the fish for a while, but I’m hopin to have a few more outings before its time to clean the boat off and get ready for open water.. ..

Are you fishing with a lizard? Is that your pet? What the heck is that? I don’t think I have ever seen something like that in the winter..
