Today was the first time out for my Marcum Showdown flasher. I was surprised how easy it is to use. The small foot print frees up space inside my shack. I was skeptical at first but, now, it is my go-to flasher.
I put one on my xmas list. pretty sure I got it. can t wait for xmas.
They look real nice, good price too.
When i first started ice fishing i bought a showdown. Used it for about 3 years and then one of my buddies let me check out his VX-1 PRO and i loved that even more so i bought one. Now im looking at getting the LX-6 or LX-7. The showdown is great especially for color blind people like my brother.Good luck fishing!

Just like anything, you’ll have to do some research to get the best price. Like a lot of products, there is very little variance.
Its no help to you, but I got one at Dick’s Sporting Goods. It was a good price, I think because it was the previous years’s stock and they were going to stop carrying them. I got a good price, but only the single beam option. I would prefer the dual beam, just to have when fishing deep, which I don’t do a lot of, or next to cover, which I do some of.
