Ice rod storage case

Was wondering what you guys are using for ice rod storage for rods 30″ plus? Looking at getting a 32-36″ deadstick/snare rod but my current situation does not handle that rod length?

I have the deluxe case from Ice Fishing Innovations. It’s nice and very robust, but it’s like carrying around a banjo case (no, I don’t have a banjo for comparison). It works better for storing rods than transporting. I have a hard side, breakdown shotgun case that I’m going to try this year.

I think this guy is 42″. I have the older version from frabill and really like the concept. I used a bucket holder; but broke a few tips off. Nothing is taking my rods out now short of a monster truck.

The eagle claw is a decent case for rods of that length too.

I run a lot of 40 to 42″ rods. I have a couple of the double rifle hard cases and the work perfect. They run a little over $24.00 so the help the wallet out too.
