I saw 1 or 2 other posts about software updates on the units without gps and can’t find them now. My wife ordered the wrong unit(without gps). Bless her big heart, she did something awfully nice for me not knowing the difference. Without the discontinued able I can’t update the unit. I finally got through to tech support and they are willing to cover shipping to send it in so they can update it. I also have a friend at a local marine dealer looking in to it. Maybe some dealers can do the updates or locate a cable. Without mapping, most updates will be irrelevant any way.
