My employer updated my phone to an Iphone 5. I see there are a few adapters out on the WWW that will allow you to connect an sd card to the phone to view pics. Is anybody out there on IDO doing this? How well does it work? Please offer any recomendations on the best adapter/cable. It would be sweet to be able to go through the pics without needing a laptop or needing to buy a sd card viewer. Thanks.

I was told in a Verizon and apple store that the adapters are only compatible with a iPad. Hope you can figure something out but I will be carrying a tablet with me this fall

Todd – I’m using the micro-sd cards in a full sized SD card adapter in my trail cameras. Then, I’m pulling the little chip and actually putting it into my android phone. Two problems. The first is that those micro SD cards are darned small and easy to lose in the woods! The second is that the adapters are not always that reliable. I’ve had a few fail on me, creating issues with the camera not taking pics, viewing pics, etc. John Schultz shared this same opinion, so I know it’s not just me.

It can be done however, so you might want to check into this.
