Morel Buyers

    I have found a lot of morels, but mostly gave them to friends and family. I was wondering if you guys knew of any buyers within an hour of Rochester? I know of Webke just looking for closer options.

    I sell to Hill’s Morels in LaCrescent, which isn’t much closer. I only know of a few restaurants that buy direct in the Rochester area, but my lips are sealed on that.

    Have you looked near the twin cities area?
    I imagine that there is a market, and possibly an increase in value. I’ve always sold in the southeast MN area to Wiebke fur. I have a friend who sells on craigslist, but I don’t care to deal with unknowns on such a hot item.
