How about a roof off of a dock? You are in 11ft of water and it does not seem to have much depth.

Id also vote for a barge of some sort. Too big to be anything else I can think of.
September 7, 2021 at 12:38 pm #2059117I seriously do not know what the objectis… but its a great structure for me to spend more time messing with the settings…
September 7, 2021 at 12:53 pm #2059119I’m going to stick with my rock screed answer. Looks like you can see all the metal grates and runners. But I obviously have no real idea. I can’t even pick a fish off the si
September 7, 2021 at 1:30 pm #2059127I’d say it’s a work platform. Seems like a fine place to loose a jig or crankbait!
September 8, 2021 at 9:41 am #2059250I do not know but I can see all the lures snagged on it. Might be worth it to pull it up.
HeyPosts: 168September 8, 2021 at 1:18 pm #2059350Anyone good with reading SI and can circle fish on that picture?
September 8, 2021 at 1:49 pm #2059362Based on the SI looking 65 ft each way, that thing looks to be about 23-30 ft wide and 35 or so ft long. That’s big! It also looks tall as it’s casting a pretty big sonar shadow; much more than the wing dams do. Cool find! Time for Dave to do some scuba diving to confirm what it is:)

September 10, 2021 at 11:24 am #2059740I’ve never heard of a double wing dam. I don’t know of any on Pools 2 or 3. Are they common down around Prairie du Chien? Do they show double ripple lines when the current and wind are right?
Do you find them to hold more fish than single wing dams?
September 10, 2021 at 3:42 pm #2059794How about a section of dock from the Lynxville float when it busted up in the spring flood a couple of years ago? There were sections floating all over in pool 10 with barrels detaching and floating down the creek….. Maybe it ended up there after the barrels/floats were gone and a nice current break?

It is the only one I have ever seen…I should dig into why ….
More fish ? More spots for them to hide !!
