Three over 54 personally and have netted two others. Unfortunately the biggest one I have ever seen hooked came off a couple feet from the net. It was a legit 56-57″.

Biggest tiger was a fat 45” – from Tonka of all places. That’s a rare fish because they aren’t stocked there. So it was a naturally produced one in your case. That’s a massive tiger too. A 40+ incher is like a 50+ inch pure strain.
I have personally witnessed a 50” tiger. Presumably a “naturally hatched” monster. It was massive – fat as can be. Crapped all over the boat when netted.

Good god, ya that is a true freak.
Remember that tiger caught on the St Louis River several years ago? I dont think that was 50″ but it was enormous!
i’ve caught one fish i suspect was a Shoepack strain.
and my buddy released this ginormous 51.25″ tiger in Utah.
we were a lot younger then!
Those are some slobs! Is that last pic the Sartell Dam? Ive seen guys fishing there for muskies and heard there are some big ones in there, but its so hard to get a boat in there unless you have a riverpro or some small boat. Ive ice fished out there and its a smorgasbord of species.
