Are the big girls starting to bite?

    Water temps should be dropping pretty rapidly, have the big female Walleyes started to move into the shallows yet? I haven’t been able to get up there the past few weeks…

    short answer is no….water temps are still around 56*, bass were biting but only managed 1 small walleye all weekend, didn’t even get any followups, so they are not ready yet…

    They are biting now, in addition to the numberous chunky Large mouth bass we caught, including a 21″ 5.3 lbs, we boated 28″, 27″ and a 24″ Walleyes. We lost a potential 15 lb Northern Pike to the trolling motor prop sheering the line. Most fish hit on Rattle Traps and Husky Jerks.
