The ice is fine. Lots of traffic on it yet. Temps are supposed to moderate now right thru next weekend. A 50 buzz was slipped out last night on the weather, but that is still a remote maybe. Still, one should consider his fishing in terms of whether or not we are seeing any substantial melting. If 40 degrees is seen on one day, the lake can be on the rise within 8 hours and that rising water will make driving out not such a good idea. 40 degrees can put enough current in the lake that the ice can erode quickly. Plenty of ice will be around for foot traffic.
