Friday, Guided out on the Chip, it was overcast and windy in the morning, we stayed out straight through the day, had some good action, my client in front, Jerome, on the second spot, thought he had a weed, so he didn’t set the hook hard, and the fish came up head shaking, it then was powering really hard down deep, it had a ton of weight to it, but with the nancy boy hook set, we ended up loosing hte fish, it was a really big fish, so that wasn’t a good way to start out the morning, so we made fun of jerome for a bit, but he was a great sport about it, and made up for it, he ended up boating two more fish that morning, a 37 or 38 incher, which was his biggest, followed by a 43 which was his new biggest musky, so that was great, he got the two biggest muskies of his life in a couple of hours, we also had a nice fish follow a pacemaker all the way to the boat, but it didn’t bite. our fish came on Cowgirls on main lake weed edges. the fish we got in the boat, clobered the baits, but both were bairly hooked in the nose by the tail hook, so I think that was maybe how we lost that big one. It was a great day on the water, and had a lot of fun.

    Good Luck,
