The Garmin site has so many options to purchase that I’m confused
I could use a little enlightenment, here are some options that may interest me:

    Garmin Lakes/North Central/Coverage: ND,SD,NE,MN,IA,MO,WI,IL,IN,MI,OH,KY
Garmin Lakes/Coverage: Lower 48 plus intercoastal waterways
Upper Midwest Fishing Guide/Coverage:ND,SD,IA,MN,WI,MI plus LOW and Rainy

What are the advantages of one over another? They all cost $100, so why would I not purchase maps covering the entire US rather than one covering a few states?
Could it be a storage issue? Better details on maps with less coverage?

I think that the Garmin is really the best choice out there. And though there are some bias here considering how they have been commonly used for any other trip, be it on the road or lakes, that just made how they will surely be expanded in any other direction.

And when that happens, you are assured that you will get the most out of what you are getting here.
