    I did not fish Ottertail for opener, but know of a great OTL fisherman that did. They had trouble getting out right away on Sat as the high winds make OT tough. When they did get out they found the fish on the sharp breaks in 17-21ft of water. The fish were better the the OT average size and were all about 17″ fish. Sun had more anglers out and like every situation “some were gettin em and some weren’t” OT always heats up as the water temp gets to that 55+
