WANTED BIG NORTHERN AND PANFISH

HEY EVERYONE

I AM TAKING THE FAMILY TO OTTERTAIL AND RUSH LAKE
I AM LOOKING FOR BIG NORTHERN FOR MY SELF AND PANFISH
FOR MY KIDS ANY BODY GOT SOME TIPS AND HOTSPOTS.
FIVE MINITUES AND NO FISH EQUALS DAD I WANT TO GO
BACK TO THE CABIN.

when are you going???

My wife and I are going to Rush June 19 for a week. I fished it last year. and caught some nice pan fish by the island.

Northern where not big, but caught some nice Walleye.

For Gils get on the island and then go back toward the resorts until you hit 12 feet of water and throw a marker. Mark your line (I use a bobber stop) WITH BAIT ON BOTTOM. Just lift up off of bottom 6 inches or so and wait for the Gils or big Rock Bass to hit.

What Resort are you staying at?? We are staying at Hidden Haven.

eyecatcher, Welcome to the site! I returned your PM about Pike fishing. I hope you and your family have a great trip. If you’ve never been to Ottertail before, be careful. If you’re out there and the wind picks up you can get some nasty waves. Mainly thinking about the kids here…

I would appreciate the info on what is hot. Last year they where catching Walleye and Northern on blue and silver lipless. I stocked up, so that may not turn a fish .
