We are losing snow in Alexandria but not at a rapid pace. Ice is still in greta shape. I’m hoping to get out ice fishing for the first time this season this weekend.

My brother saw trucks on Leech yesterday. So I would say “NO” as well

A couple possible answers to your question…

1 – Still driving on the lakes

2 – Talked to a guy today that was out on a smaller lake yesterday and had 4″ to spare on his auger

3 – Just starting to see grass in the yards

It looks more like March 8th than April 8th!

After ice fishing at my cabin this weekend and the ice being no different then a month ago it’s going to be awhile up there. Glad the snow is off the lake for the most part up there.

It had loosened a little since March….drilled about 4″ less ice… Got some fish and a sunburn…Back at it this weekend…
