I’ll be heading up to Bowstring over Memorial weekend. I would appreciate any insight on the fishing up there.

The fish are in the shallows. The rock pile is a good place to start. The North end of the lake seems to be holding some nice fish as well. Look for the fish to stay shallow through this weekend, meaning 4-6 feet of water. I would tip a 1/16 or 1/8 oz. jig with a shiner or chub and stay shallow. The crappies started biting this weekend as well, they are normally in the rock or the NW end bull rushes. Good Luck

I appreciate the insight, I was wondering when you say the north end are you talking snug harbor, bowstring lodge, right out from the access, green boat house, rocky shores ect… any one area better than the next?
