Wabasha Ice Flow

    I saw the video link posted yesterday with the ice out of Pepin taking out the dock & boat lift along the shoreline.

    Here are pictures of a similar sheet of ice that must have come down the river after that as I don’t recall seeing the lift and dock along that section of the waterfront and this one was further from the shoreline.

    Those familiar with the Wabasha bridge will have some perspective of the size of these ice sheets.

    We haven’t had ice on pool 16 now for weeks, that’s could put a hurt on anything it comes in contact with.
