    Left Everet’s at 0700 and headed North around the locks. We picked up a few saugers and walleye there on jigs/meat and blade baits.

    We decided to make a move and went for a ride South. We worked points, inlets and backwaters. Ended up with a total of 9 all released!

    I see spots on the dorsal of that fish in the pic…That is a TOAD Saugeye!!

    There’s some great fishing down there right now. Congrats on 9 with that toad in the pic. Hopefully we get a lot more fishing time and the high water stays at a controllable level.

    Each trip down we have been able to improve on our last. Here’s hoping the water stays at a level so we can continue to fish and have some sort of plan for the MTT in a month.
