Guess that means the Habor Bar and Grill will be serving Life Jackets again.
If I recall the high water mark was a few inches over my head inside the building.
March 4, 2011 at 1:56 pm #943921Does that mean the sturgeon on the wall at Evert’s may swim away on it’s own???
March 4, 2011 at 2:12 pm #943936I suppose I should start scoping “new” backwater areas if I want to fish from shore at all this spring. Time to get out the topo map. Only problem is I also have to guess which areas won’t be barricaded 20 blocks away from the access point.
March 4, 2011 at 6:01 pm #944056If you guys could slow your melting of the snow down it sure would helps us down this way.It seems that once the flooding start it lasts for a few months anymore. Hard fishing and sometimes they shut the river down and no boats are alouded on the river or back waters. One thing that hurts also are a few major rivers that run in just north of here. Lets hope everything melt at a easy rate.

On warm days, I’ve been shovelling all of my snow out into the street so it melts faster. That should save about 20 gallons of water from going down the river in month.
You’re welcome.

So much for a normal prespawn bite this spring.
Start saving for extra anchors Andy, the water is going to be moving!
